We are at the end of the season. I pulled dried grapes (raisins) off the dehydrator. I froze the last of the ears of corn. We canned as many pears as we have jars and space for. And I placed 4 different herbs on the dehydrator.
All in all, we have stocked up quite a bit of food for our long dark wet winter. We have peaches, tomatoes, salsa, pears and pickle relish canned. We have fermented pickles as well. We have frozen blueberries, blackberries, corn, peas, and green beans. We have onions, potatoes, squash and carrots stored as well.
So I think we are done except for alcoholic preservation (fermenting). Today we will press more apples and set up more cider carboys.
Beautiful job on the canned goods. T.
Thanks Tina!
