No More Rams

bambam-before

This is the end of an era for me and our sheep.  I purchased my first ram Loki from Kim Kerley on August 1, 1999 and had the last of our rams castrated today.  Above is Bambam Too before the deed was done.

Below is Hodor sedated in front and Bambam laying down in the distance to the right after the deed.

And this is later in the afternoon with Hodor in front of the fence panel and Bambam laying down behind it.

They do not realize it yet, but their lives will be much better because of this.  So no more breeding and no more lambs at Schoonover Farm.  We desperately need to downsize, and this is a large step in that direction.  Goodbye testicles.
