Farm Improvements

Tom had finished cleaning out the barn before the hunting trip, and so now it is time to replace the feeders.  They have been cleaned and repaired and are now going back into the barn where they belong.  This is in time for hay feeding which will begin soon.  Plus he also replaced the wheels on the farm cart with solid rubber ones.  I know this doesn’t look like much, but this is a major improvement.  No more flat tires!

During chores I took the time to notice how pretty autumn can be.  Here are three of the cows in front of fall foliage.

And here is Maddie Moo in front of trees that are similar in color (sorry about the fencing and hose, you cannot always get a perfect shot).

Those are such nice garden carts! My sister used to have two of them.

Nice tires! I think the fencing and hose are part of the beauty and reality that is farm life.
