Tom heard a thud on the barn roof this morning and then saw this:
This is the first time that I know of that one of the GBHs has been on our roof.
I slept most of the day after working last night. So Tom made dinner for us. He used the recipe Secret Fried Halibut. He bought halibut for himself and wild sockeye salmon for me. We didn’t have any mayonnaise (I had been making it recently) so he used Italian dressing in place of the secret sauce.
It was a great dinner.
That’s quite an honor, to have a great blue heron land on your barn roof! They are SO beautiful! It’s nice to have the picture of it!
