So even more Olympics. Ryeleigh was thrilled!
There was more weaving and USA basketball with an ex (and stolen) Seattle Sonic.
More track and weaving.
And I finally finished the weaving on Saturday evening. I have two 75 inch long rugs and one mat from my Pendleton rug salvages.
Then there was the women’s basketball gold medal game with Sue Bird (a Seattle Storm player).
And the women’s volleyball with the first gold medal for them.
Today we had my father in law’s 80th birthday celebration which was wonderful.
Then the closing ceremonies which I had recorded.
The Canadians were praised for their jean jackets.
There was a drone Olympics symbol.
And a cool drum.
There was one last Walter commercial,
and then a farewell by Mike Tiroco. We loved him. He did a perfect job of presenting the Olympics in challenging times.
Back to regular life and its chores. I look forward to the Winter Olympics and more weaving only 6 months away, pandemic willing. The winter games are much more condusive to weaving, I am learning.
