Yesterday, Marji was in heat. She decided not to eat and was trying to catch Rory’s attention with her behind. He was more interested in eating hay though. I am hoping he is showing her some attention at other times.
There was a GBH at the back of their field that caught my eye.
I had refilled the goose pool. And they were trying to do a threesome in it.
In other news, the sheep are still enjoying the fallen branches I am bringing them. We keep having winds come through with more branches coming down. I am glad the sheep like them anyway.
And the croci are starting to poke through the ground. A welcome sign of an upcoming spring. Plus at 7:00 it is ever so slightly light out.
I had to chuckle at the three geese in their pool! Very cute! It still surprises me that sheep and goats will eat evergreen branches. They don’t sound delicious to me!
It was a little awkward in the pool. They hopped out shortly after. They love branches. I guess it is some fresh green in their lives. I have a recipes for spruce tip tea I was planning on trying in the spring. Maybe it is tasty.
If you try that spruce tip tea, please let mine know what you think off of it.
I will.
so it sounds like Rory has settled in. that’s good. I’m so ready for spring
We all are ready for spring.
