This is the blog for our little farm in Skagit county. Here we have Shetland sheep and Nigerian Dwarf goats. In addition we have donkeys, cattle, pigs, chickens, geese, and peafowl. The blog describes the weekly activities here.
I used my comb to harvest the flax seeds. I was able to get rid of most of the duff. The Eliz turkeys were freed. They seem to be doing OK. The largest black one is acting like a Tom so still hoping for some hens. And we got some rain for the first time in a while. This is a very welcome sound.
What is your plan for the flax seed? I know a lot of the specialty foods have flax in them…
If the flax fiber turns out I may plant more.
