Today we checked a couple of items off of my local bucket list.
First we went to the Concrete Theatre to see a special 30th anniversary showing of This Boys Life about Tobias Wolff’s childhood in the area.

We had both seen the movie, but it had been a while. It did feel spooky to walk out of the theater and feel like you were in the movie set.
Next we headed to the Lyman Tavern. It is under new ownership, and I have wanted to check it out.

Tom had a pulled pork sandwich, and I had a brisket dip. It was all really good. And the place was fun and friendly.

We watched cornholing which was a new experience for us. I thought we might try it at our anniversary.

We had a great evening. A couple more things off of the list.
I seem to be hearing about cornholing everywhere these days!
This is the first I have heard of it.
