Melting Snow

It has been raining today but still cold.  So the snow is slowly melting.  It has been sloughing off the barn roof.  When it falls it makes a loud, scary, booming sound.  Here is some of the wet heavy snow about to slough off.

Today while doing the chores, I was fascinated by the bird tracks in the snow.  Not sure why, but it made me smile.

The gargoyle on our back steps with a snow cover also made me smile.

Things are gradually getting better at Schoonover Farm.
