This has been our last couple of days.
We rented a manure spreader yesterday, and Tom proceeded to scoop the barn, put it in the spreader, and spread it onto our fields.
Here is the barn all cleaned out.
And here the chickens are happy to be helping to spread the new straw.
Then we went to see the Downtown Abbey movie at the Pickford Cinemas. That was fun, and then we headed to the Black Cat in Fairhaven for dinner. I had the fish and chips, and Tom had a chicken sandwich. It was all very good.
Today, among other things, we shucked corn while watching Revolutionary War Weapons. It was fascinating.
P.S. I am a great aunt again. In August my niece Loki and her husband had a baby named Zephyr. I have been a great aunt before on my husband’s side, but this is the first time on my side of the family. It is wonderful news.

That was a busy time for you and Tom. Thanks for a very nice update!
And that’s good news about your new great-baby! Hm! That sounds funny! Is Zephyr a little girl? I hope you can go and see the baby soon! And get pictures to share with us!
Take care!
It was a busy time. Zephyr is a boy. I hope I can see him soon as well. He lives a ways from us. His mother asked us not to post any photos of him online though.
