Goat shots and shearing

Today all the baby goats needed their CDT shots and their coccidiosis medication. Quite a bit of fun catching them all and torturing them further- especially since one week ago was when they had their horn buds burned off and the boys had their testicles banded.

I also managed to shear 4 more sheep- 12 down and 17 to go! I enlarged the melanistic mutant pheasant pen and sheared two rabbits on top of the usual animal chores. The grass is starting to grow so we’re feeding 1/2 ration of hay. It’s nice since it’s less work and expense too. Today was a beautiful clear day- we need that.
