Illness and baby rabbits

Illness and baby rabbits
I have been home ill all week. I’m not getting better so I’m starting to get worried. I have fatigue, memory loss, lack of concentration, nausea and muscle aches. This happens to me periodically over the last 5 years- sometimes with sore throat, fever, chills, joint pain, headaches. I’ve been to a couple of health care providers and all of my blood test have been fine. I called one back yesterday (my gynecologist), but she is out until Monday. I scheduled an appointment with a new doctor (since my last 2 moved out of town) but couldn’t get one until December 12th. Hopefully I’ll get better by then!

This morning when I finally dragged myself out to the barn after 11:00 I found these baby bunnies all warm and cozy in their nest with their mother Thelma. I brought them into the house so nothing happens to them in the cold barn and took their photo. There appears to be 4 black kits and 5 white ones. One white one is a runt so may not make it. Thelma is due today as well so i’ll need to drag myself outside again to check on hers.

I have never seen baby bunnies before; very interesting! They kind of look like the pigs on “Jakers” (kids’ show).

They get much cuter when they are about 4 weeks old. Even cuter than lambs, I think anyway.
