Julia Child’s Poulet Roti

I used my first edition cookbook to roast a chicken last night. The underlying reason was that we are out of chicken stock.

I used this recipe. I had to used commercial chicken stock though.

The chicken was totally amazing, tender and flavorful. The sauce was lovely.

I forgot to take a photo of the dinner, but here are the leftovers for lunch.

It is my new favorite roast chicken recipe.

    Hey that does sound like a good recipe! I don’t have a Julia Child cook book, but I loved watching her on TV! I even got pretty good at imitating her voice! 🙂
