After my conference ended in the afternoon we walked around seeing the tourist sights.
Saint Patrick’s Cathedral:
42nd Street (AKA The Deuce):
In front of Macy’s:
There was a Christmas themed bar crawl going on with scantily clad Santas and elves giggling from bar to bar.
This is what you could see of the Empire State Building:
At this point we were tired of the walking, the floosy Santas and the crowds so we headed to the Valhalla Bar in Hell’s Kitchen where they had mead and cider.
They also had Icelandic beer. Then we went to Bocca di Bacca for dinner.
Here is our appetizer:
I forgot to take a photo of my Italian sausage and chanterelle mushroom pasta dinner. And I tried to take a photo of my tiramisu but it didn’t work. But we had a lovely meal.
These were the views on the walk back to the hotel.
Carnegie Hall and the Russian Tea Room:
Sheepy Peanut Butter Whiskey:
We had another long, tiring and memorable day. Now we will relax and get ready for another NYC day tomorrow.
Your pictures are great, Donna! It would be fun to visit NYC, but I doubt I’ll ever make it .. Oh well! Thanks for sharing them.x
It is fun but frenzied and exhausting. You can visit via my photos though.
