Al, Paul and Mom got to watch the Super Bowl in the hospital. I asked them to take a photo for posterity’s sake. Hopefully the only Super Bowl that needs to be watched in a hospital. Al is getting better, but there will need to be a bit of recovery.
I made a cocktail for the game that we watched at home. I made one loosely based on the Fly, Eagles Fly recipe.
I had a beagle and a Wally cat help me watch part of the game.
Roscoe briefly joined me.
And briefly joined Tom as well.
I did get some knitting done, on my sheep tribute scarf. I was knitting with James’ yarn.
There were some good commercials.
I made dinner at halftime with Philly Cheesesteak with peppers and onion. I know it isn’t an authentic recipe, but it was good.
In farm news, in this cold weather the birds like the sun beams in the barn.
Roscoe is slowly getting used to his new home.
The old sheep are surviving the cold weather with some extra nutrition.
Steve and Wally need some extra attention from Tom.
That is our Super Bowl Sunday. Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles!!!

We watched the Puppy Bowl first and then switched to the Super Bowl. The Eagles did very well.
It’s nice to have your furry companions, isn’t it! Rico took turns as to whose lap he chose to sit on. He prefers a lap to his snuggly bed.
I hope Al will make a full recovery.
I watched a replay of the end of the puppy bowl. That was fun too. It is nice to have the furry companions. Roscoe is not quite comfortable in the living room yet though, thanks to Wally. I bet Rico enjoyed the laps. I really hope Al makes a full recovery too.
Me & old and young kitties ♥️’d the ‘puppy bowl’
